WWF Oasis

Perfect activity for families or those who care about the natural environment of our beautiful region. The guides will help you understand how unique it is and how important it is to protect this specific territory. The oasis has existed since the early nineties, its peculiarity is the fact of being the only natural stretch of the entire Tuscan coast north of Viareggio on which the WWF is involved to protect the last coastal dunes of Versilia.

This experience can be combined with a visit to the WWF Park: in the guided tour, after a brief presentation of the WWF activities, the children are offered a tour of the Park's educational classroom, a first close approach with the animals and plants of the environments natural surroundings.

How can we be even more sustainable within the Park? Follow these simple rules:

• Get around by bicycle

• Respect the areas within the Park

• Respect woodpiles, used to shelter hedgehogs and other animals

• Sort waste carefully in the bins present within the area. If there is none nearby, take your waste with you and do not abandon it inside the Park

• Help us keep the area clean by picking up any rubbish you find lying around

• Do not feed animals

• Do not capture or hunt animals
