Pisa & Lucca

These two Tuscan gems will amaze you with their beauty: we will first visit Pisa, famous for the world-renowned Leaning Tower inside the impressive Piazza dei Miracoli. In the square, besides the Tower, the Cathedral and Baptistery are also definitely worth the visit.

Pisa houses one of the oldest universities of Europe: the city is lively thanks to the students, and we will take some time to stroll around the old town and along the river.

Then we will head to Lucca, only 20 minute away. The city will welcome you with its well conserved renaissance buildings, the many medieval towers and the famous walls. Less crowded than Pisa, the town is also called the "City of the Hundred Churches", due to the many religious buildings.
