The Principe Forte dei Marmi hotel, an excellence in the Versilia area, is looking for a Chef de Rang.

The figure will report directly to the Maitre and will take care of welcoming guests with style and elegance and accompanying them to the tables, ensuring impeccable service. He must be able to predict customer needs and satisfy them even before they are expressed. He will have to know perfectly the rules of service and mise en place that he will personally execute in an impeccable way. He will provide support and assistance to the Maitre, whose instructions he will follow precisely and punctually.

Main requirements:

•    Proven and consolidated experience in the role of at least 2 years in starred restaurants
•    Take care of and manage the service within the dining room section, in compliance with the standards
•    Ensure a perfect mise en place of the tables
•    Knowledge of the various types of service
•    Coordinate the work of the commis de rang alongside
•    Excellent knowledge of national and non-national cuisine.
•    Knowledge of bar techniques
•    Excellent knowledge of English (fluent) and preferably a second language.
•    Knowledge of viticulture, oenology, tasting and service techniques;
•    Support the sale and service of wines and beverages
•    Manage inventory and related requests
•    Knowledge of LQA standards
•    Ability to work according to objectives
•    Management skills and daily motivation of collaborators
